1. Scope of Agreement
This Agreement sets out the terms of service between:

You (the User/Customer/Visitor) – any person accessing or booking services via ShiftIndia.in.
ShiftIndia.in / Alfa Corporation – the service provider and aggregator.
Partner Service Providers – verified Packers & Movers companies and logistics associates working under our network.
Our services include, but are not limited to:

Household Relocation
Office Shifting
Local & Intercity Relocation
Car & Bike Transportation
Loading & Unloading
Packing & Unpacking
Warehousing & Storage Solutions
By using our platform, you acknowledge and accept these terms in full.

2. Eligibility
By using our website/services, you confirm that you are:

At least 18 years of age.
Legally capable of entering into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
Providing true, accurate, and updated information.
Acting in good faith and not misusing the services for unlawful purposes.
If you are under 18, you may use the services only under parental/guardian supervision.

3. Acceptance of Terms
Continued use of ShiftIndia.in indicates your acceptance of these Terms.
If you disagree with any part of this Agreement, please do not use our website or services.
These Terms are subject to modification, and the latest version will always be available on the website.

4. Conditions of Use
Users agree:

Not to upload illegal, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content.
Not to impersonate another individual, provide false details, or mislead the Company.
Not to book services for illegal goods, contraband, weapons, or hazardous substances.
Not to interfere with website functionality, hack systems, or misuse customer information.
Violation may lead to immediate account suspension, cancellation of services, and possible legal action.

5. Booking, Pricing & Payment
5.1 Booking
Bookings can be made via our website, helpline, or WhatsApp chat.
Confirmation is subject to availability of transport, manpower, and route feasibility.
5.2 Pricing
Estimates are provided based on service type, load size, distance, labor, and packaging material.
Final price may vary due to tolls, waiting charges, additional items, or last-minute changes.
5.3 Payment
Advance booking fee may be required.
Balance must be cleared upon delivery.
Accepted payment methods: UPI, bank transfer, credit/debit cards, or cash.
5.4 Refund Policy
Cancellation 48 hours before the scheduled date: eligible for partial refund.
Cancellation within 24 hours: booking fee is non-refundable.
Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
No refunds for delays caused by traffic, strikes, weather, or force majeure.

6. Delivery & Timelines
We strive to provide timely pickup and delivery.
Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, breakdowns, or other unforeseen events.
Customers or authorized representatives must be present during pickup and delivery.
Goods must be inspected upon delivery; claims of damage must be raised immediately.

7. Insurance & Liability
Customers are strongly advised to take Goods Transit Insurance.
ShiftIndia.in and Alfa Corporation are not liable for loss/damage if no insurance is availed.
If insurance is purchased, liability is limited to the policy coverage.
In case of proven negligence, liability is limited to the service charges paid.
Natural calamities, theft, accidents, and uncontrollable events fall outside Company liability.

8. Warehousing & Storage
Warehousing facilities are offered upon request.
Charges are applicable on a per-day/per-unit basis.
Perishable goods, valuables, or restricted items cannot be stored.

9. Misrepresentation & Prohibited Activities
Users must not:

Provide false information regarding goods.
Use our services to transport banned or unlawful items.
Harass staff, service providers, or misuse customer data.
Attempt to copy, resell, or misuse website content.
Post defamatory, communal, or misleading reviews.

10. Service Provider Responsibilities
Partner Packers & Movers must handle goods carefully.
Service providers must comply with Indian Motor Vehicle Laws, GST, and transport rules.
Loss or damage during transit is the Service Provider’s liability (if insured).

11. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, logos, graphics, and images, belongs to Alfa Corporation / ShiftIndia.in.
Copying, redistributing, or using content without consent is prohibited.

12. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate addresses and contact details.
Fragile, valuable, or restricted items must be declared beforehand.
Adequate arrangements (like building permissions or lift access) must be ensured.
Outstanding payments must be cleared before unloading.

13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ShiftIndia.in, Alfa Corporation, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or legal costs arising due to:

Misuse of services.
Misrepresentation of goods.
Violation of laws.
Breach of these Terms.

14. Force Majeure
ShiftIndia.in shall not be liable for delays, losses, or service disruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

Natural disasters
Strikes or labor unrest
Road accidents or breakdowns
War, riots, or government restrictions
Pandemic or lockdown situations

15. Privacy & Data Use
Personal data (name, phone, email, address) is collected only for service fulfillment.
Data may be shared with verified service partners for logistics execution.
We do not sell customer data to third parties.

16. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
Disputes shall first be resolved amicably through negotiation.
If unresolved, disputes will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
